Day two is in the books! Literally! :)
There's not much I can say for day two except that I read. Not as much as I would have liked but I did read.  I always start these readathons so excited, thinking that I'm going to throw down a ton of books... and then I'm quickly reminded of how slowly I read. lol.  I wish I was a super fast reader, but I'm simply not. And that's okay.  I can't complain when it comes to reading good books.

So here are my books!

The topic I chose was horror. I'm a horror lover and, though these books are on my TBR and I haven't actually read them yet, these are on my list for a reason. I absolutely love vampires and I absolutely love ghost stories. Ghosts actually scare me more than anything because I've had a ton if experiences in my life and they're the most real for me. I absolutely love R.L. Stine and e is my favorite author. I included an extra book because I HAVE read Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter and it was so insanely realistic and Seth Grahame-Smith made it so believable. I loved it. I can't wait to read Pride & Prejudice and Zombies.

Alright guys! We've made it to day two of the readathon! For me, this was a feat to be achieved.  Of course, the morning Bout of Books started, my little one woke up with a stomach bug and I spent the day cleaning up puke, running down to the hotel laundry room to do laundry and basically just doing whatever I needed to do for my little sicko. Since the day she was born, if she isn't feeling well, she's a daddy's girl. But not yesterday. Her tummy was messed up, she was tired all day, she had a fever, and all she wanted was mommy.  If I left her side for a second she started crying.  So it's safe to say that my reading updates for day one (at the end of this post) won't be very impressive.  Hopefully today will make up for it!

These bags aren't technically shelves but we're out of town right now and in a hotel suite so I have very limited space. Usually the books are at least stacked nicely in the bags but my 2 year olds keeps going through them. 😜 She loves books just like her momma.

Hey everyone! I'm super excited to start off Bout of Books 16! I have a lot of confidence in myself to do better this time around than I ever have before! And I have a bunch of books to get through for other challenges and for tours and stuff. I actually already had a TBR list made up for myself so, for this challenge, I'm just going to list the first five books on that list. I'm not sure how many I'll be able to get through but I'm ecstatic to find out!
