Review: Boots No. 7 Protect and Perfect Serum

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

First Impression
I received this product in my Frosty Vox Box from Influenster.  I'll be completely honest, I don't use a lot of products like this as the only problem I have with face is dryness. I have no issues with wrinkles or aging or anything of that nature. So I wasn't too crazy excited about this particular product.

Review
The product had a subtle scent to it.  I couldn't smell it at all without putting my nose super close to it. It did have a very chemically smell though.

The serum felt very nice and creamy.  I smoothed into my face nicely.  It didn't seem very moisturizing though which is my number one thing to look for in facial products.

Another thing I didn't care too much for was, without thinking, I stuck my hand under the faucet.  The product that was still on my hand was super hard to get off with just water.  It had the same effect as an oil, most similar to coconut oil.  I totally did not expect that and it kind of turned me off of it.

Over all, I didn't care too much for this product.  But, in it's defense, I have no use for a product of this nature.

I would not buy this product in the future.

Blitz: Heartache by Danielle Allen

Roman Harper is known for being three things:

A talented artist…

A charismatic loner…

And most notably, an unintentional heartbreaker.

Even though he doesn’t mean for women to fall in love with him, Roman Harper has left a string of broken hearts in his wake.  But after a lie tore his world apart eight years ago, Roman doesn’t let anyone get too close to him. Sex is sex and love is…completely out of the question.  Using the past as motivation, Roman pours his heart out onto his canvas.  His heartache inspires some of his best work. And at twenty-eight years old, his art is finally getting the recognition that he’s always desired. But when Roman wakes up on the morning after his successful event with no recollection of who left the cryptic message on his bathroom mirror, everything changes.

"This is an amazing story. It is so different from anything else by Danielle Allen. That is what I love about her. You never know what type of story you will get until you read it. She has a way of holding you captive in the story. You don't want to put the book down. You devour it and then wish you could have read slower to savor the words written. This book takes you through loss, lies, betrayal, love and forgiveness. It will have you rooting that everything Roman wants comes true and that he doesn't let his past rule his future."
-- Heather, Carver's Book Cravings

"Danielle has a way of writing characters that you become emotionally evolved with. This story is captivating and you become engrossed. It's what I love most about her writing."
-- Jenny, Chicks Obsess With Fiction

"Heartache will just blow your mind! I am just blown away from this book! This book is the type that grabs you right from the start and once you start you can not and will not want to set your kindle down!"
-- Karrie, Panty dropping Book Blog

"Your mind will flip and flop and flip back to who is stalking Roman. You, yourself won’t know who to trust or hate. Danielle Allen does an outstanding job in this suspenseful romance novel. One-click you’ll love it!"
-- Michelle Lynn, Author

"I've read other books by Danielle Allen, and those were good, but this one... this one had a totally different vibe and hit me in a totally different way. Heartache has blown me away."
