Tipsy (Take It Off, #5)
Cover Source:
Title: Tipsy
Series: Take It Off #5
Author: Cambria Hebert
Version Reviewed: Finished, eBook.
*I purchased this book myself.*

GoodReads Summary:
Julie Preston is an artist. But her canvas isn’t paper or clay. It’s hair. She spends her days coloring, blow drying and styling her clients hair at the Razor’s Edge salon. Julie is also annoyed. She went out on a date and had a great time, gave the guy her number and the jerk never called.
So when he waltzes into the salon and sits down in her chair she briefly considers strangling him with the pink cape she fastens around his neck.
Too bad she can’t.
Blue Markson, the guy who never called, is a police officer so causing him bodily harm would be a first class ticket into the slammer. Just looking at him again makes Julie forget why she was mad in the first place, but she’s already learned that Blue is nothing but heartache. So when he starts coming around, acting like he hadn’t made her stare at the phone for days, she tries to brush him off.
Her life is about to blow up in her face, she’s about to get caught up in a sticky web of crime and the one guy who can help her is the one guy she vowed never to trust again.
I got a little behind on the books as they came out after reading Tease. I still hadn't read the third book when this one came out and I know they're standalones but I refuse to read them out of order. As soon as I saw the cover for Tipsy, I knew I had to read it.

This book is just as great as the others, but I have to admit that it took me longer to read than any of the others in the series so far. It was good but it didn't suck me in as much as the other books.  I really did enjoy the story and the characters were great. Cambria Hebert is wonderful at creating believable and relateable characters and settings. Blue was a great character and I think I enjoyed that piercings just as much as Julie did.

The only bad thing about being caught up with the series is that now I have to wait for Tricks! (This review was written prior to Tricks being released).

Rating: 3 Stars.
Character: Blue.
