Leave a book review
Did you know? Book reviews help other readers discover new books. For today's challenge, we encourage you to write a review of a book you've read during the readathon (or recently) and publish it where other readers make their purchasing decisions (e.g., Amazon, Goodreads, etc.).

Man, oh man, oh man, oh man.  I'm not even sure where to start with this book. It was so full of twists and turns and amazing revelations that I don't know exactly how to put into words they way that I feel about it.

I have always been a fan of slasher movies. They're thrilling and crazy and make you search for the truth and understanding of the story. This is how Amnesty (and the Amnesia duet in general) was for me. The book was very much like a slasher-type movie. It was thrilling and full of mystery and suspense.

Amnesty begins pretty much right where Amnesia left off. Am and Eddie are still filled with confusion about her true identity (is she or isn't she Sadie?) and still in the throws of passion. They find themselves in an insane situation, trying to figure out who she is, and attempting to not let that affect their relationship.

In the meantime, Amnesia is still being rattled by spontaneous memories that seem to be triggered by random moments in her new life and leave her feeling defeated and weak, yet a little bit closer to the answers she so desperately seeks.

Amnesty was amazing to read because we finally got answers to every question we had from book one as well as a deeper look into what life was like for Amnesia on Rumor Island. More was revealed about Widow West and how she truly played a role in the disappearance of Amnesia and how she fit into the story thereafter. We also got to find out the identity of Him.

This book is a lot darker than a lot of Cambria's other books. The things that are done to Amnesia are horrible and disgusting but they're a vital part of the story and truly paint of picture of how strong Amnesia really is and how her body and mind went into survival mode to keep her alive and somewhat sane.

The Amnesia Duet is dark and haunting and a truly great read for anyone that loves thrilling, myserious books with a slasher-style quality. I really couldn't get enough of them. Lake Loch is definitely my favorite fictional place of Cambria's and I really, really wish I could visit it again. I can't wait to get my hands on physical copies of these books so I can see them on my shelves. Such a great duet.
