Bout of Books
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 21st and runs through Sunday, August 27th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 20 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books team

Oh my gosh guys, I'm so excited! If you've been around my blog for a while then you know that I am a huge fan of Bout of Books. I've been participating in almost every readathon for a couple years now. I was bummed that I couldn't participate in 19 but I had just had a new baby and I knew that trying to do a readathon with a brand new baby, my husband working out of state, and a an almost-four year old wasn't a good idea. Thankfully we've gotten into a decent routine and I'm able to give my books some love and attention. I've been eagerly awaiting the next readathon and I'm so freakin' excited! I'm trying to get as many NetGalley books reviewed as possible right now so I have a ton of books to throw down.  As always, I have to mention that I am, unfortunately, an extremely slow reader and that's definitely not gotten better since I've had kids. So I never set the bar too high. If I can finish 1 to 2 books during the readathon, that's a success for me. So once again, I'm not making an actual list of books to get through, my goal is to just read as much as I possibly can!

Bout of Books is a ton of fun, so if you're interested in checking it out yourself, click on the links above or the button at the top of the post for more information! Hope you join in!

GOAL: READ!
