Sick Lacquers is an Indie polish shop run by a mother and son team, Peggie and Jonathan.  All of their beautiful polishes are 3 Free and cruelty free.

Swatch & Review: Sick Lacquers "Sugar Rush"

Sugar Rush is a 3 free crelly white polish jam packed with all kinds of different sizes, shapes and colors of glitter.  This is two coats of Sugar Rush with no undercoat.

The polish went on very easily.  It was completely opaque in one coat, but I almost always apply two coats of my polish, so two is shown in the photographs.  I had absolutely no problems with the glitter.  No fishing required.

I think Sugar Rush is super cute and it makes me think of balloons and confetti.  I can't wait to use this polish for some nail art.

Nail Art: Ocean Water Ombre

My brother-in-law said this mani reminded him of ocean water, hence the name.

My gradient didn't turn out as well as I hoped.  I know I can (and have) done much better than this, but it was the first time I had done it forever, so I cut myself a little slack.  I started out with a white base and sponged on the blue.  To shake it up a bit, I decided to do an accent nail using one of my new (and first) indie polishes.
