GoodReads Summary:
Being the first female werecat enforcer isn't easy. Scars accumulate, but I'm stronger in so many ways.
As for my personal life? It's complicated. Choices worth making always are. Ever since my brother's death and my father's impeachment, it's all I can do to prevent more blood from spilling. Now our Pride is under attack by a flight of vicious thunderbirds. And making peace with our new enemies may be the only way to get the best of our old foe.
With the body count rising and treachery everywhere, my instincts tell me to look before I leap. But sometimes a leap of faith is the only real option...
Review:
Oh, how I love this cover. It’s so dark and sexy. It’s my favorite so far. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind having a poster size version of it to hang up somewhere. But enough about the cover.
Just like with the front image, Shift is probably my favorite book in the series so far. It was dark, dangerous, and full of shocks, surprises, and thudding heartbeats. It was neat to learn more about a different shifter species than the ones, we’ve seen in the previous books. The thunderbirds were creepy, gross, and badass all at the same time.
Not only do we learn about the thunderbirds, but we also get to delve deeper into the personal relationships of the main characters, which, simultaneously, pissed me off and entertained me at the same time.
I loved thi sbook and I can’t wait to find out what happens in the next (and last) one.

Favorite Character: Faythe, Jace and Marc.
Rating: Five Stars.
