  TESTIMONIAL
I first discovered FLYLēF through a giveaway hop. I entered a giveaway on her blog and absolutely fell in love with the design of it. I don't subscribe to many new blogs now days simply because I'm already subscribed to quite a few, I have my own blog to run, and I just don't have a lot of free time. However, something about her blog caught my eye and I knew that I wanted to see more of what she had to offer.

After following the blog for a bit, I decided to join in on some of the hops that FLYLēF hosted and through different scenarios, our interaction with one another grew. As she branched out and began Ink Furie, I followed her to Instagram and was blown away by her creativity and talent. I love watching her calligraphy videos.

I can't wait to see what she does next!

  DISCUSSION
What was the first book you remember reading/being read?
Bridge to Terabithia
Definitely Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson. I remember being in elementary school and the teacher reading the book out loud to the class. I remember not fully understanding the story but realizing that it was an important circumstance that I needed to take seriously. Since that day, Bridge to Terabithia has always held a place in my heart. I have forever named it as one of my favorite books and, to this day, I can't keep the tears away when reading or watching the movie. I think this is an absolutely beautiful story and helps teach kids about true friendship and the unfortunate reality of loss.

  BLOGGER BIO

Hello! Thank you for taking a moment to get to know me. I'm quite a closed book actually — shy and all things timid — except when it comes to...well, books of course!
I'm the creative mind behind FLYLēF (pronounced like flyleaf) who enjoys reading late into the night to satisfy my insatiable addiction to mostly young adult and adult novels: romance (contemporary and historical), fantasy, and paranormal (especially vampires). I believe in the magic of spellbinding words coming together to build breathtaking worlds in our minds’ eyes. Happiness is just a book away, find it with me.
I'm also the owner of Ink Furie (that's a whole nother story, but if you like calligraphy...), host of FLYTIP and Book of Choice Giveaway Hop, and co-host of The Comment Challenge.

  4. Hi Darcus! I'm so, so happy that you're celebrating with me. <3 I really enjoyed your perspective of how we first came to "meet" and I definitely enjoyed hopping with you. =) Bridge to Terabithia is my son's favorite book, too. It's been too long since I've read it. I need to do a re-read! Thank you for celebrating with me, Darcus!

    XOXO,

  17. That’s amazing. I have also finished a few books lately and was thinking about which one to start with. Its good that I found you here because now I can take your help and find out some good books. There was even a book fair recently in an event space NYC and shopped a lot.
