Bout of Books 14: Readathon Wrap-Up

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 17th and runs through Sunday, August 23rd in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. Overall, I didn't do as well as I would have hoped with the reading part of the event.  I'm a slow reader anyways and it just seemed like I didn't have as much time as I would have liked or I was too exhausted and literally fell asleep while trying to read.  My little one has been teething this week and has been a handful.  You mommies know what that's like.  

Other than that, I'm pretty happy.  I completed all the challenges except one, I read a really good book and almost finished another awesome one.  I can't wait until the next event!

Thanks Bout of Books for giving me an awesome week! I'm gonna miss it!
