Title: Untraceable
Author: S.R. Johannes
Series: The Nature of Grace #1
Version Reviewed: Finished, eBook

GoodReads Summary:
16-year-old Grace has lived in the Smokies all her life, patrolling with her forest ranger father who taught her about wildlife, tracking, and wilderness survival.

When her dad goes missing on a routine patrol, Grace refuses to believe he’s dead and fights the town authorities, tribal officials, and nature to find him.
One day, while out tracking clues, Grace is rescued from danger by Mo, a hot guy with an intoxicating accent and a secret. As her feelings between him and her ex-boyfriend get muddled, Grace travels deep into the wilderness to escape and find her father.

Along the way, Grace learns terrible secrets that sever relationships and lives. Soon she’s enmeshed in a web of conspiracy, deception, and murder. And it’s going to take a lot more than a compass and a motorcycle (named Lucifer) for this kick-butting heroine to save everything she loves.
This book isn't something that I would normally read and I admit that, going into it, I didn't know much about it.  As I continued reading it, I found that it was completely different than I thought it was going to be.

Overall, I really enjoyed the book.  It had it's twists and turns and was action packed.  It was extremely well written and wasn't easy for me to figure out, which is something that causes books to rack up major bonus points with me.

The characters were very well defined and had their own individual personalities.  As the story progressed, Johannes had fun popping in surprises about almost every single character at every single turn.

This is a book that I would read again in the future and recommend to other readers.  I can't wait to continue this series.

Memorable Quotes:
" In that moment, I realize there's a glimmer of beauty found in death. When something bigger sweeps in undetected and cradles the dying. In the last breath, the place where pain finally surrender to complete peace."
Favorite Character: Wyn.
Rating: 4 Stars.
